the idea is that flights that depart and arrive during middle of the week are cheaper because most business people travel on mondays, fridays and some on sundays. flying on a saturday is also cheaper.

I would have to say that there is no specific “day” in which tickets are cheaper. Many agents suggest traveling during the “off-season” in order to obtain cheaper airfare.

Wednesday nite will be the best time when all the airlines change their fares… In the past, there were couple of times that people got “golden fare” such as $50USD/ticket from SFO to LON — ’cause of the computer glitches… Good luck!
