How much time do I need between flights?
Airline Ticketsshellsbells asked:
If I have a stop in LA and arrive at 1:15pm, will I be able to take an international flight out at 2:15pm or is that not enough time between flights? Can I explain that I REALLY need to be on that 2:15 flight and they’ll let me do it?
I’m flying with two different airline companies.

An hour is typically the cutoff time I tell passengers that they can make their connection. If you’re going domestic to international, we should have plenty of time to get your bags (if you’re checking any) to the aircraft. Make sure, though, that you are at the gate no later than 15 minutes prior to departure, which means that, technically, you’ll only have 45 minutes to get to the gate.
