Depends on what your looking for. I’ve been once, and going again in two weeks.
Last time we stayed at the Exalibur , but wouldnt reccomend. too many kiddies.
Now we’re staying at Bally’s. it seems nice.
If you want affordable I would stay away from the Venetian, Wynn, HIlton, Caesers,Bellagio, Luxor, Mandaly Bay those are some.
Affordable: Excalibur, Bally’s, the Alladin (now Planet Hollywood or someting like that), Circus Circus, though Its pending implosion, and its not all that great…
For flight and hotel, check out some of your airlines or travel websites where they offer all of it (and if you have airmiles you can use those towards some hotels in vegas too!)
Things to Do: Brunch at the Bellagio, has all you can eat, and really has everything.
Cirque Du Solei= O is playing at the bellagio, but there is Zumanity, Ka, the regular one, Some beatles one, and a few more.
Sight Seeing= Ethel M’s chocolate shop
I would go to see the burlesque show at bally’s or another one. Lots of the hotels offer alot of things to do!
Walk up and down the strip (You can actually have open liquour on the strip, but only there)
See some of the shows, since vegas is known for its shows
For shopping= The Forum shops at ceasers palace, and Fashion Show mall! Which carry amazing products like DandG, prada, gucci, armani, and the list goes on.

The best prices except on holidays or when a huge convention are in town are Monday thru Thursday night. Go to for more information.
Southwest Airlines has flight and room packages as does MidWest Airlines. Try Yahoo travel, too.

My friend and I got a great deal at “Paris” this past August. It is a great location in the center of the strip, next door to Planet Hollywood (formerly Aladdin) and across the street from the Bellagio (we could see the fountains across the street). We had a great time there, nice rooms, decent casino with some good entertainment. We paid $179/night (we stayed friday & saturday night) (weekday prices are much cheaper then weekend prices) and we got our airline tickets from Southwest Airlines (we flew from Atlanta to Vegas non-stop). Although they did have some packages you could book.

Circus Circus is a great hotel as well. Any of the travel discounters will save you money, but do ask the hotels for their rates as well.

Yeah…thanks Bobby…
Sure, check out Southwest Airlines. Just ignore the fact that they were just found to be in serious mechanical violations i.e. allowing planes to fly that are over 30 months due for service. Scary.

I’ve stayed at many hotels in Vegas and I prefer the Mandalay Bay, the spa they have is off the hook!!
The Wynn is very nice but a little pricey

Depends on what you’re into. My personal favorite is The Hotel at Mandalay Bay. Then head up to the Foundation room for dinner and drinks, or the Voodoo lounge on top of Rio.

depending on when you go and what’s going on. Stay away from large convention weekends, prices for rooms will skyrocket! Go a week before or after. Try booking late, prices often fall when the rooms don’t get filled up. Beware of vacation websites, because they sometimes add a fee. I find it cheaper to use those sites as a reference, then go directly to the hotel casino’s website to book. Also try using your AAA discount, or ask if there are any discounts available. When you get there, try slipping the receptionist $20 as you ask if there are upgrade rooms available. Sometimes they will put you in one for free!
