Andrew asked:

I always see the Continental Airline commercials on TV, and they are always bragging about their airline. I never hear any of the other airlines gragging. Does Continental Airlines does anything different then the other airlines, and why do they always bragg an the other airlines don’t? Just curious.

What airline has offered you the best overall experience?

mypaintings1212 asked:

Please answer only for COACH.
Is is VERY VERY easy for an airline to offer a great experience in first class when you’re paying over $5,000 for a ticket. For that money they BETTER offer a great experience!
So, COACH only- who had the best food, decor, service, extras etc.
I will actually take the advice of the person who offers the best answer.

Do Airline pilots need to know how to swim?

Airline Tickets 5 Comments »
Mr Quiet asked:

I was reading on the Qantas Airline pilot application they ask a question can you swim 50 meters fully clothed and tread water after that for 3 minutes! Do you think if you said I can’t swim they would consider my application? If they don’t could I sue them for discrimination?

How does the Hotelling model predict airline firms will behave?

Ahmaendah asked:

Airlines are forced to locate very close to each other both physically, at the airport and relative to consumers online. Assuming that price competition is intense in the airline industry.

How does the Hotelling model predict airline firms will behave?

I think they will appeal to the consumers by providing incentatives such as food and nonstop flights.

Whati is the best Airline for first class that is in the United States for a good price?

When I think of first class, I think of big seats, good food and snacks, service, and a good fare for it.

Right now, I’m trying to find the cheapest Airfare from ether MSP or DSM to WAS (All DC Area Airports). I don’t like Northwest.

So, what is the best Airline for first class that is a United States Airline for a good price?

What are the specific respsonsibilities an airline has for delayed baggage?

Airline Tickets 1 Comment »
pachl@sbcglobal.net asked:

A friend of mine flew on December 17, the day the airlines got spooked and suddenly forced everyone to check their carry on baggage. My friend had everything important in his carry on: laptop, phone, etc. The airline did not locate his suitcase for over THREE MONTHS. Previously, he even tried going to the airline in an attempt to identify his bag. They refused to allow him to show them which bag was his.

The ultimate insult was the reimbursement they sent him for the great distress and hardship they caused him. After, in a very real sense, holding his bag hostage for three months, they sent him a check for about………… $4.

The airline said they had about 300 bags whose tags had been ripped off. I don’t think any reasonable person could justify an airline taking three months to identify 300 bags.

What are a passenger’s rights? What is an airline responsible for?
